The story behind Heating Heroes
I'm Jamie, the proud owner of Heating Heroes. I'm based right here in Epsom and mainly cover South West London and Surrey, bringing my local plumbing and heating experience to every home I visit.
I started this business back in 2017 with a genuine passion for high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. As Heating Heroes gears up to celebrate our 10th anniversary next year, my commitment to keeping your home warm, safe and running smoothly remains as strong as ever.
Who I help
Homeowners who want a boiler that works and a bill they were told about in advance; landlords and letting agents who need CP12 gas safety records issued without chasing; and anyone whose heating or plumbing has failed today and needs someone to actually answer the phone. I work solo, occasionally with a subcontractor covered under my public liability insurance, which means the person who quotes your job is the person who does it.
What I specialise in
Gas and boiler work sits at the centre of it, installation, repair, servicing and CP12 certificates, as an engineer approved by both Vaillant and Worcester Bosch, so those installs can be registered for up to 10 years parts and labour. Around that sits full central heating installation and repair, powerflushing, radiators, general plumbing, leak detection, taps and toilets, and emergency call-outs. Around half of my work is emergency call-outs, so if something has gone wrong today, say so when you call.
Where I work
From my base in Reigate I cover Epsom, Reigate, Banstead, Cobham, Walton-on-Thames, Dorking, Worcester Park, along with the wider Surrey and South West London area. Keeping the patch tight is deliberate: it is what makes 24-hour attendance on standard call-outs and same-day attendance on genuine emergencies realistic rather than a promise on a website.

How I work, and what I hold myself to
Four standards that apply to every job, whether it is a dripping tap in Worcester Park or a full system swap in Cobham.
You deal with the engineer, not a call centre
I work solo, occasionally with a subcontractor covered under my public liability insurance. The person who quotes your job is the person who turns up and does it, so nothing is lost between the phone call and the work.
The price is agreed before the work starts
Reactive work runs at £90 + VAT for the first hour and £45 + VAT per additional 30 minutes. Anything likely to run beyond three to four hours is quoted as a fixed price instead, so a long job never becomes an open-ended bill.
Safety comes before convenience
If a gas appliance is unsafe I will tell you plainly and explain the options rather than patch it up. When you are waiting for me on an emergency, I will talk you through isolating water or gas on a video call so the damage stops before I arrive.
The work is guaranteed in writing
One year on my workmanship, one year on the parts and materials I supply, and up to 10 years parts and labour on Vaillant and Worcester Bosch boilers I install and register.

Non-urgent call-outs are attended within 24 hours. Genuine emergencies are attended the same day, often within a couple of hours.

Vaillant and Worcester Bosch approved, so those installations carry up to 10 years parts and labour from the manufacturer.
