Who is responsible for your information

What I collect

Only what is needed to quote and carry out the work: your name, phone number, email address, the address or town of the property, and the details of the job you describe, including any photographs you choose to send. If you call, I may note the same details by hand.

Why I use it, and on what basis

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and arrange an appointment, on the basis of taking steps to enter into, or perform, a contract with you.
• To issue invoices, keep accounting records and record gas work and certificates such as CP12 gas safety records, on the basis of my legal obligations.
• To register boiler warranties with manufacturers where that applies to your installation, on the basis of performing the contract with you.

I do not sell your information, and I do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Who it is shared with

Only where necessary to do the job or meet a legal duty: the subcontractor who occasionally works with me and is covered under my public liability insurance; boiler manufacturers, where a warranty is being registered; and my accountant and the relevant authorities for tax and gas safety records. Where the enquiry form, email or phone service I use to receive your message processes it on my behalf, they act on my instructions only.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as needed to follow them up. Records relating to completed work, invoices and gas safety certificates are kept for as long as required for tax, warranty and gas safety purposes. Specific retention periods: Not Provided.
